Ode to the warp

When we started PinkNova, we dived right into the world of magic numbers. Not only did we have to learn about yarn counts and grams per square meter, but the many possible bindings and the combination of blend, yarns and design all merge into one big puzzle that would make any avid math lover dance with joy.

Fortunately, we always have a steady base to rely on: 4848 threads of lush cotton per 150 cm – side by side on the warp, tied by hand (!) to the loom.

People sometimes ask us if a wrap is still safe to use if a warp thread is broken. As long as it is one, maybe two of the 2424 in your wrap, all should be fine.
Fix it, use it and love it. This steady base will not let you down.
